Area1/Area3 joint area round at Pirelli on 13 Jan 2008

Just a short note to thank Norman Fawcett for hosting the above at his club and for doing race control all day without racing himself.

What a great meeting with a fantastic atmosphere. Icing on the cake was eurosport with some close racing in all heats and a new lap record for Ross Grogan. Race format was segmented finals winning from any heat.

Allan Lucas set the pace in the B final. Ross won it in the end but had to do regular 40s to do so with fantastic close racing from George Kimber and Graeme Stevenson. Allan came second at the end of it all.
